About the event
Drop off your clean, pre-sorted plastics at our free Kits Village recycling depot.
* Located on the south patio of Kits Community Centre (immediately north of 12th Ave. and Larch St.)
Categories accepted:
- Soft Plastics (i.e. any plastic bags, wraps, or packaging)
- Hard Plastics (i.e.any hard plastics #1 thru #7, but w/metal parts etc. removed)
- Styrofoam (white)
- Styrofoam (other colours)
- Foam Blocks (non-styrofoam)
- Packing Foam Chips and Peanuts
- Mixed Paper (mixed paper/plastic coated items)
- Foil (also known as composite)
- Bottle Caps
The depot is supported in part by a Greenest City Neighbourhood Small Grant through the City of Vancouver and the Vancouver Foundation (administered by the Kitsilano Neighbourhood House), and also by Village Vancouver and Westside Neighbourhood Food Network.
Please arrive no later than 6:45pm.
